Be part of the first face-to-face conference for web builders dedicated to Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), the design language of the web!
Post-conference workshops include “Build Responsively” to help web builders build sites for a multi-device web and “SMACSS” to help web builders write CSS better for web app-y sites.
Jonathan Snook brings his SMACSS Workshop to CSS Dev Conf. If you take his workshop, you will shift how you think about writing CSS that will simplify your code, make your project easier to manage, and allow it to grow without creating an increasingly brittle system of dependencies. Your code will be more portable, making it easier to use code on other projects.
Oct. 23rd workshops require a separate registration. →
A full-day workshop on responsive web design presented by Ben Callahan. From process and client interaction to code structure and techniques, we will encourage workshoppers to embracing the fluid nature of the web. Geared toward intermediate front-end developers and supplemented with knowledge for managers, designers, and others in the web industry.
Who else is speaking? It's up to you! For the second year in a row, the bulk of the CSS Dev Conf schedule is coming from community voting on community submitted sessions.
The types of CSS-related sessions is wide-wranging. Sessions can cover everything form Case Studies and Tools, Cutting Edge, to CSS and Friends like JavaScript, SVG, Sass, and much, much more! It really all depends on you.
Voting ends May 13, 2013.
